How did you start in the travel industry?

ITC was my first job in travel 26 years ago! I’ve always worked within the trade team in a predominantly administrative role, although I have hosted wonderful events and amazing educationals for our travel agent partners. My first trip was just three months after joining the company, hosting agents to St Kitts & Nevis and Anguilla – I thought I’d died and gone to heaven! Travel and holidays have always been my first love so to be able to have this as my job is unbelievable.

What do you like most about working with the trade team?

My favourite thing about working with the trade team is the people! The team bring different ideas and their own unique experience to the table, with the aim to showcase our product and promote our wonderful staff and their knowledge to our agents.

What does ITC mean for our trade partners?

We work with many consortia members and our varied products enable us to reach many of our agent partners. Whether their clients wish to relax in the lap of luxury in a 5-star resort, enjoy the excitement of the F1 in Monaco, experience an evening under the northern lights or explore remote parts of Madagascar, our portfolio of product is so diverse that we have something for everyone.

What’s your favourite destination?

I have so many favourites that it’s hard to choose one, but it has to be Barbados. I’ve been there so many times but experience a different, wonderful holiday or educational each time I go. My favourite hotel is the Sandpiper.
