How did you start in the travel industry?
I was blown away following an interview at a prestigious FBO at Stansted Airport. While being given a grand tour among the private jets and hangar, I knew this was where I wanted to be. Now, some 30 years later, the travel industry has afforded me remarkable opportunities to meet all walks of life, in awe-inspiring destinations across the world.
What do you like most about working with the trade team?
I feel very lucky to be part of this exceptional team, which is very diverse, with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Every day is different and as the newest member, I am confident to deliver all products to our agents, while being fully supported by my team.
What does ITC mean for our trade partners?
It’s vital that our partners feel connected to all our brands within ITC, building and supporting wherever we can. We collaborate with numerous consortium members, with such a diverse range of products, from high-end luxury to thrilling adventures. Whether you’re discovering remote regions of Kazakhstan or stargazing in Chile, there’s a unique experience for everyone.
What’s your favourite destination?
Having travelled Europe quite extensively, I have a soft spot for the Tuscan Hills – not only because of its beautiful landscape, but the people and food, and of course wine, which are all truly wonderful. My most memorable experience, however, was visiting a stunning little hotel in France. Arriving in the early hours, the receptionist had left a trail of sticky notes which eventually led me up the stairs to my room.
